My Approach

Weaving is a creative act of unity - the interlacing
of individual threads into a complete fabric
as a way of embracing the whole.

Welcome to Weaving Wholeness, a space created to offer support for working safely with expanded states of consciousness and the healing potential they can offer.

Central to our approach is the belief that each individual is guided by an innate healing intelligence, a universal wisdom which lies at the heart of an untouched core Self.

Here I wish to share with you a little more about this space, the name Weaving Wholeness, and the therapeutic tools we offer.

The significance of Weaving

Weaving is one of the most ancient arts of humanity. Since time immemorial indigenous women have practiced weaving, not only to create functional items but also as a form of storytelling that allows ancestral wisdom and communal memory to be passed down through generations.

Furthermore, many cultures have refined this craft as a way of interacting with the invisible worlds of Spirit: the Huni Kuin women of Amazonia, Mayan women from Guatemala, the Tuareg nomads of the Sahara and countless others.

At Weaving Wholeness we consider the act of weaving as a metaphor for our own conscious process of reconnection with Spirit.  Different strands of our human psyche, our life story, and the very essence of our being are brought together in realignment.  A delicate dance that gradually mends the fabric of our life into a renewed whole.

The Significance of Wholeness

Wholeness in this context evokes a sense of plenitude, in which all of our parts are brought into unity. We are the weavers, working with patience and care to integrate each lesson into the thread of our being, even those that are frayed by past difficulties, suffering and regrets. We strive to walk in beauty, remembering that the full splendor of the tapestry relies on the integrated sum of its parts.

Together Weaving Wholeness becomes alive as a multidisciplinary safe container for the manifestation of our natural inner healing intelligence, driven by the holotropic impulse that drives towards an ever more complete version of ourselves.‌

What therapeutic modalities are available at Weaving Wholeness?

GROF® Breathwork

GROF® Breathwork is a gateway through which we can explore expanded states of

consciousness. It is a complete modality in itself, comprising of three interconnected phases: Preparation, the Journey into non-ordinary states, and Integration. It was created by Dr. Stanislav Grof and Christina Grof. Stan Grof is a leading figure in the current Psychedelic Renaissance, and a founding father in the fields of Transpersonal Psychology and Psychedelic Assisted Therapy.

Psychedelic Care

The ancient process of connecting our inner and outer worlds with transpersonal dimensions is the work of weaving a life. Through accessing mystical states and extraordinary states of consciousness, we gain valuable teachings and insights that become transformative threads available to be woven into the fabric of our being.

This intimate process can be facilitated by the compassionate, heart-centred work of Psychedelic Integration, a new field in the area of psychology.

At Weaving Wholeness, we can accompany you in this process of integration.

The work we undertake together has two essential pillars:

  1. Making sense of the material that comes up from experiences with plant spirit medicines and psychedelic substances.

  2. Translating these understandings into effective actions that can bring about positive changes in your life.

Our current focus inside this broad area is in helping clients dealing with prolonged reactions, adverse effects and difficult processes that have resulted in problematic situations in their lives.

Internal Family Systems® (IFS®)

Internal Family Systems is available to us as a modality for individual psychotherapy. It has been gaining a lot of attention recently due to its empowering paradigm, dynamic nature and synergy with psychedelic medicines.

IFS® sees each person as a constellation of protective and wounded inner parts, orbiting a core Self.

IFS® aims to harmonize these parts, integrating them into our lives in a way that promotes equilibrium and inner peace.

These three modalities of GROF® Breathwork, Psychedelic Care, and Internal Family Systems (IFS®) are highly complimentary tools for the work of weaving your way back to wholeness. Together they embody a language of transformation, as one by one the threads of our inner and outer lives are brought back into balance.
